Send verification codes with Vonage
Use your Vonage account to text the verification codes Casdoor sends when users sign up, sign in with a code, reset a password or use SMS as a second factor. Casdoor sends each message through the Vonage SMS API and reports Vonage's error if a message is refused.
Frequently asked questions
Does Casdoor run code from the Marketplace for this?
Yes, a small WebAssembly module that runs inside Casdoor in a sandbox. It cannot read files or the database, and can only send requests to rest.nexmo.com.
Does it use Vonage Verify?
No. Casdoor creates and checks the code itself and only uses Vonage to deliver the text, so the code works the same way as with Casdoor's other SMS providers.
